Getting Back to Gardening

Garden Days
I've been thinking a lot about what I'd like to grow in the garden this year.  Last year I didn't have enough time to really devote to my little garden like I had the previous year, but this year I'm all in.  I'm so ready for the days of walking out back and picking things straight out of the garden to prepare for dinner.  I can't wait for the cool mornings where the girls and I spend the first hour or so watering the plants and snatching strawberries along the way.  I spent a good bit of time looking back through my old garden posts here on the blog, and here are some of my favorite memories:

I've already gotten some things in the ground and our strawberries are blossoming like crazy, so that's getting us all excited!  Tomorrow I have a seeds/plants buying date with my gardening soulmate, and I really can't wait.  If you'd like to see my past gardening posts, you can click right here.  Alright, time to do some planning!

  1. I bought a few cute gardening supplies from the Dollar Store today. They have a good selection and I love pairing the items with more expensive plants from our local greenhouses. The results are usually so cute and unique!

  2. I love your gardening posts! So happy that it's spring!

  3. Gardening is just the best. I don't have any grass so I'm currently learning about potted veggies. Nothing better than fresh herbs and veggies whenever you want them. It's so much fun and saves so much money.

  4. I'm so excited that you'll be gardening again this year! You started your garden the same year as I did and it was such an inspiration to see how yours was coming along and all the amazing produce you kept getting from it. I can't wait to follow along again! :)

  7. yay!! can't wait to see more of what you grow!

  8. Can't wait until I have my own place so I can grow some veggies! In student housing at the moment, so all I have is uninspiring concrete.

  9. Ah I wish we had a garden!

  10. I'm so inspired by this post that I decided to sew something on my own. For a good start I've picked herbs as it sounds easy and can grow successfully in pots x Good luck with your garden!

  11. Awesome! I found a blog with gardening theme going on! I am trying to get my hands into dirt and start some bits of gardening on my balcony...but I need some tips. I hope to find them here :)
