Etsy Love

It's that time again where I share some of the darling things I've found on Etsy lately!

Let's start with this adorable plush cactus from SleepyKing.  Love it!

I pretty much need this Twin Peaks waitress dress by Biantika!

I adore this lovely pillow from EstherSandler.

This green tourmaline ring from Opal and Gold is swoon-worthy.

I've already ordered this beautiful print by ybryksenkova for our house.  Dreamy.

As always, if you'd like to leave some of your favorite shops in the comments, I'd love to take a peek!
Have a wonderful day, friends!

Little Bits of Happy

Coffee Table Fun Coffee Table Fun Coffee Table Fun Coffee Table Fun Coffee Table Fun
I've been looking for fun new things for our home as we've been gearing up for our move.  One of the things I've acquired is this adorable coloring book.  I plan to use it as a coffee table book, so when friends come over and we're hanging or whatever, they can contribute to making this a colorful masterpiece.  Being the sentimental so-and-so that I am, having my friends signing and dating (and maybe even leaving little notes) as they go sounds like a sweet way to bottle memories.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share a small bit of happy on this Monday.  Have a great one, friends!

Check it Out: Arrow & Apple Digital Print Shop

Guys!  My sweet friend, Sarah, has opened her digital print shop and it's just the loveliest!  If you're looking for art (who isn't, really?), give her Arrow & Apple shop a look-through.  She's such a talented lady!

Happy Tuesday, friends!  xo.

Lucky Jackson

That Lucky Jackson never ceases to amaze me.  She does some of the most incredible embroideries I've ever seen, and I'm honored to share that she has embroidered me.  I don't know how in the world I got so lucky to have someone I admire so much work me into one of her pieces, but I am definitely over the moon about it!

You can find Lucky's blog here.  She is such a talented lady!

Hello. A DIY

For the sake of the blog, we'll call this a DIY, but really it was just a fun project Hope and I whipped up.  She's been very interested in foreign language lately, so yesterday as we were reading into "hello" in different languages, we came up with a way to incorporate them into a little art piece.

Supplies:  Pretty paper.  Window crayons.
*We used window crayons because they are very gummy and easy to spread around the paper.

Steps:  Write on pretty paper with window crayons.
*See?  This is less than a DIY.

When we were finished Hope said, "Can we really hang this in our house?"  Yes, silly girl.  Of course.

Side note:  I cannot wait to be rid of these brown walls.  The count down to moving has begun. (!)

Really, if you decide you don't want to write on your pretty paper you can always write the words on the outside of the glass.  The window crayons are removable on slick surfaces, so you could always change it up.

Feature Friday: Caitlin Shearer

As many of you know, I'm a huge Caitlin Shearer fan.  I think her work is beautiful and unique, and I wouldn't be at all opposed to living in it!  I just found out recently that she also does custom portraits, and I'm over the moon excited to save my pennies and request one!

You can find her shop here, and her blog here.  I hope you enjoy browsing her work as much as I do.  :)
Happy Friday, friends!  xo. Katie

People Make Pretty Things

There are so many people around us making pretty things.  I love browsing the internet and seeing all of the wonderful talent out there.  Here are a few of my current favorites:

Pretty Katie makes the most beautiful moccasins.  I plan to get my hands on a pair this year for sure!

I can't wait to see Elsie's new lookbook coming soon.  These pictures make me so excited!

I always love Laura Berger (aka Laura George), and I'm the proud new owner of this painting.  It's so cute... and so true.  ;)

I know everyone is excited about Sue of Giant Dwarf's new additions.  I'm personally in love with these mini ruby heartlette sparklers

Happy Wednesday!  xoxo Katie

Etsy Love: Nursery Edition

I have been browsing Etsy tonnnns more now that I have a little nursery to decorate.  The hardest part will be sifting through everything and actually making decisions!  Here's a little Etsy love for your Thursday:

As you can see, I don't really have a color scheme picked out, but I think I'm leaning towards bright colors for the nursery.  I go back and forth... I guess we'll just see once we get there.  ;)  Have a lovely day!  xoxo Katie
