Cold Weather Scavenger

We had a cold weather scavenger hunt a couple of weeks ago to get our bodies out of the house and back outside.  The girls loved watching the geese and squirrels, and basically just running around like crazy.  I want to get better at getting outdoors even when the weather isn't ideal for it.  There's so much we miss when we cage ourselves up indoors for months at a time.  This fun, happy (chilly) day was the perfect example of that!

Before we left we popped on our Minnetonka boots and shot some pictures for their new lookbook while we were out.  You can check out the lookbook here and see what we did with our scavenger hunt findings.  :)

  1. I've SO been guilty of being cooped up inside. But you're right and this particular day just seems rich with wonderful moments & memories. Love your family posts, Katie!! And the Minnetonka boots are rad! Wishing you and your fam the loveliest of weekends!

  7. I love their shoes and boots! These pictures are great - a scavenger hunt is a great thing for the cold months because it keeps everyone focused on a fun and mutual goal even if it is cold.

  9. I have the hardest time getting outside during this time of year. I haaate being cold, but staying in so much definitely doesn't boost my morale... Hah. It looks like you guys had a blast. Your girls are so precious!
