A Day in the Life

Things happening in my world lately:  My bike is fixed!  I've been sewing up a storm for the update, but have embarrassingly run out of stuffing and am at a stand-still.  We are playing music at a wedding this weekend, but have yet to practice the songs and I'm getting a little nervous about it.  I wore my clogs out in the rain today.  It was a big mistake.  Johnny kept offering to carry me everywhere.  I love him.

These are snapshots from our Tuesday.  It was both amazing and exhausting.  How was yours?  xoxo Katie

P.S.  "A Day in the Life" is definitely in my top 5 favorite Beatles songs.

Love Hopes bike!!! the color is awesome and I love the little tassles on the side. Wish I had some of those...Howome they don't have those for grown up bikes....tz....got to figure out how to make some for mine. Love it!

Poesy looks so cute with the little flowers in her hair...and love the bunnies ears! :)

  4. Please tell Hope that she is rockin' it with her matching raincoat and boots!

There are twice as many bikes as people in the Netherlands, and looking cute whilst riding is an absolute must. I love wearing heels while riding to the farmer's market on my fixie. :)

  17. Katie, do you and Johnny play music together? And what sorts of songs do you play? My sister is getting married this summer & we (my fella & I) are planning to do a few songs at her wedding, I'm both nervous and excited (he's a musician and I just wish i was!)
ps Hope looks adorable on her bicycle & Poe has the sweetest face :)

  20. Beautiful photos. My husband and I had a Beatles filled wedding, including a trip down the aisle for me to the Across the Universe version of I Want to Hold your Hand. And then our first dance was to the Beatles version. One of my all-time favorite groups.

  21. Love the pictures!
PS do your hands ever hurt from making all your adorable woodland creatures? My hand hurts from all the crocheting I do. I have a brace but Judah has stolen it recently and I can't find it.

Love that your husband is so sweet to you!

Are you and your husband in a band together? I'd love to hear some of your stuff! My husband and I are in a band that's been on hiatus for the last three year since our twins were born! ;)

  27. It's such a shame when something relatively small like running out of stuffing holds you back from a burst of motivation. How annoying for you!
