Good People Making Good Stuff

Well, the weather was crazy-amazing here in Missouri over the weekend.  The thing about the mid-west is that you can never trust the weather.  It could be 100 degrees or snow tomorrow, you just never know.  I won't be packing away my summer things for another couple of months.

I wanted to share some of the new designs that my pals over at Culture Flock have come out with. As you may already know, I do photography (and model- obvs) for them periodically and am particularly in love with the new summer additions to the webstore.  If you like cute things, pop over and give them a look-through.  They are good, good people making really fun stuff.

Weekly Wears: Back To School

Oh, back to school.  I'm not going back to school, but we have started up with home school again here in the Skunkboy house.  It's always a little tricky finding a rhythm when we first get going again, but all-in-all, I think it's going to be a good year.  I'll do a post on our home school schedule and curriculum soon.  Last year we learned a lot about what works for us and what doesn't, though for some reason I didn't talk much about home school on the blog.  Sometimes you just feel inspired to share and sometimes you don't, ya know?

Let's Write A Letter

I have slacked on the snail mail front for far too long now.  I just picked up these notecards with the intention of sending out little "hello, I'm thinking of you" letters to some of my wonderful, far-away friends and I figured, why not share here on the blog and challenge some of you to do the same?  I have some amazing people in my life who mail me little things periodically, and it just makes my whole day to get that little something in the mail.  So, let's take a little time out of our day and send a little love to someone who means a lot to us.  Want to join in?  xo.

Happy Handmade Home

Elsie and Emma's new book "A Beautiful Mess Happy Handmade Home" is out and in stores finally!  I'm truly in love with this gem of a book.  There are several projects that I had my hands in, like that car quilt above-- it was fun stitching it up and seeing it all come together!  Anyway, if you are looking for some inspiration, I highly recommend it.  There are projects and pretty photos and party ideas... a little bit of all my favorite things.
