The Sunshine Motivates Like No Other

These are just a few snapshots from one of the oddly warm days we've been having lately.  I don't know what it is about the sunshine... it makes me feel so happy and motivated.  Don't get me wrong here, I wasn't lying when I professed my love for snowy days.  I think I have a great appreciation for both.

I'm ready to really start knocking some stuff out this year.  I'm keeping a small list by my side of things I'd like to accomplish, but not counting it as a real "resolutions list".  The first thing on my list this week is helping Hope start up a little pottery business.  She got a kiln for Christmas and is interested in making a little money to pitch in toward a family vacation to Disney World.  Have I mentioned that she is a really cool kid?  Oh, yeah... all the time.  ;)

Three Years of Poesy

We celebrated Poesy's 3rd birthday last week, and of course I had to take a little walk down memory lane.  She is the spunkiest, most hilarious little gal I've ever met and I'm so, SO glad she is a part of our family.

Weekly Wears: Winter Chill

When I first came across this coat on Pinterest, it was one of those moments where you click the picture and keep your fingers crossed that A) the link to the item will work, B) it will just happen to be your size, and C) it won't be sold out.  I was surprised (and delighted) to find that this coat isn't vintage at all and I could get it in any size I wanted.  The buttons up the back and the bows on the sleeves are the sweetest touches.

It's been a little while since I've posted a date night outfit.  I've had the urge to go bowling lately, and I think this would be a great outfit for a bowling date.  Or maybe we could just sit at our favorite pub and eat fries and drink warm drinks.  Hey, Johnny... wanna take me out?
