Weekend Bits

This weekend was happy and full and special and exhausting.  Our band played a show Friday night and then Johnny went to an Stl Cardinals baseball game on Saturday, while the girls and I had a special mommy/daughter/daughter day.  We picked from the garden, went to a favorite spot for lunch, had Frosty(s), and just spent some good time.  Like I said, it was special and incredibly exhausting and I wouldn't have changed any of it.

These are some lo-fi snippets from Friday.  One day when we have prettier photos and maybe even a video or two, we can really talk about the Mixtapes.  Until then, it's just a little mention here and there.  :)

What did you do this weekend?

**My pretty backpack is from ELF.

  5. I finally have to say something after being a follower and reader of your blog... You've gone too far this time ;)!!! You're officially my hero. Hehe. You're adorable, your family is wonderful, and now that you're in a band with an accordion. Jeesh....too far. And not to mention I wish I could own your closet, and I wish my thumb was as green as yours. I killed basil this summer :(. Anyways. Thank you for always letting me take a peek into your' world... I appreciate it and love it so

  21. Katie, I want to join your band. Let me know if you guys ever move to Canada and need a drummer/bassist/guitarist/keyboard player. A 90's cover band is basically my dream come true.
