Duct Tape Bike Makeover

As you can probably tell, we've been a little bike crazy around the Skunkboy house.  It started with the tandem, and now our favorite family activity is riding bikes in the evenings.  Hope and I have been talking about finding a way to spice up her bike and make it scream "Hope", but we hadn't thought of anything great... until it hit us!  We've partnered up with Scotch Colors and Patterns Duct Tape to bring you a fun and colorful bike makeover!

The whole idea is to cover the bike in a rainbow of tape strips.  I did the cutting and Hope did the taping (until we got to some of the trickier spots).  Instructions for this DIY are literally cut and stick, cut and stick, repeat.  It was a really fun project that we were able to complete in just a couple of hours.

It was so fun to see her step back and take a look at the finished product.  "WHOA.  MY BIKE LOOKS AWESOME NOW."  So darn cute.  :)
