Let's Swap Home Stuff!

You've already heard me talk about swapping clothes on Swapdom, then came kid's stuff, and now we can swap home goods on the site!  They have a new section launching today for home stuff and I'm pretty excited to do some trading.  You can find me right here if you want to browse my profile-- I'll be uploading more stuff throughout the week!

Our Family in Family Fun!

Our family, along with some other wonderful people I admire, are featured in this month's issue of Family Fun Magazine!  I got to talk a little about one of our favorite corners in our home and have an excuse to have a little family band time.  I'll always welcome that!

We're gearing up for another full weekend of friends and concerts and birthdays, so I think it's gonna be a good one!  I hope you all have a great weekend!  xo. Katie

Uncommon Goods

I hadn't been familiar with UncommonGoods until recently, but when they contacted me and I popped over to their shop, I knew it was a match.  They have all kinds of unique gifts-- stuff you don't typically see around.  Which, if I'm not giving a handmade gift, I want something different.  You know, something that says, "I actually shopped with your personal style and taste in mind."  Anyway, I thought their company was pretty cool, not only because they carry "neat" goods, but because they carry handmade, upcycled, and eco-friendly things.  Plus, most of it is made right here in the US.  See?  Pretty cool.  You can read more about their story over on the UncommonGoods site.

Good grief.  I can't remember the last time I did a big ol' photo dump, but my pictures are getting all backed up!  Here's a little of what we've been up to lately:

Whew.  That feels better!  Life is full and happy and wonderful (and stressful and grumpy and "don't talk to me for the next hour...") and I wouldn't change a thing.  Except maybe I'd like my house a little cleaner.  Yep, definitely that.  ;)  xo. Katie
