Fact Time: Mustaches

Today you will learn 2 things about me.

Fact:  Every time I share a story from when I was young, my mom says, "You're just making that up because you had a boring childhood."  This makes me crazy. 

Fact:  When I was a small girl (kindergarten age) I had this reoccurring nightmare that girls with mustaches were chasing me around the playground and trying to kiss me.  This truly terrified my 5 and 6 year old self.  When mustaches starting becoming popular some years back, this dream would constantly pop back into my head.  I had mixed emotions.

Today I can wholeheartedly say that I am able to look in the mirror, put on a mustache, and not recoil.  Talk about facing your fears! ;))

Music Monday: Wilco

*Sigh* I love Wilco.  Chances are, you love them, too.  Sky Blue Sky
is one of the best albums... the sounds are wonderful and the songs are
great.  I've been listening to Wilco non-stop today, and it's making
my lovely day even better!

Um, yeah... and Nels Cline is amazing.  He melts my face off.

Once when we were in town to see Wilco, Nels stopped Johnny on the street (who was toting a handful of my animals) and was asking about my creatures.  That turned into Nels taking us back to the stage after sound check and showing us all of his gear and whatnot.  Nels the narwhal is named after him. :)

Hello, Saturday!!!

Today was such a short and sweet Saturday filled with late brunch, nap time, little photo shoots, and my first pedicure.  All-in-all I'd say it was a pretty perfect day.  :)

I'm going to marry this day.  :)
