Weekly Wears: Knit Knack

Shirt: c/o ModCloth (similar);  Skirt: c/o ModCloth;  Tights: We Love Colors;  Boots: Miss Sixty;  Bracelet: Sea of Bees c/o Emerging ThoughtsGlasses: c/o BonLook

I was pretty nervous about this skirt when I ordered it, but the reviews were good enough to sway me.  I'm usually not a fan of jersey knit-- it has to be a really good/special piece for me to wear jersey, and I was really afraid this skirt was going to be jersey and oh-so huggy.  It's not and I'm relieved.  It is a thin cotton material, and is surprisingly flattering.   Yay for good skirts.  I definitely need to acquire more good skirts.

That whole "Halloween in the middle of week" thing sure has thrown me for a loop, but Happy Friday, all the same!  We have another full weekend ahead of us and I plan to throw either hot chocolate or ice cream somewhere in the mix.  It all depends on this crazy weather.

P.S.  I've been thinking of you East Coasters like crazy.  Lots of love to you.

  26. Hallo Katie,I just wanted to tell you that I bought exactly this skirt in a sale at H&M a few months ago and I replaced the buttons by some silvery vintage ones - so it looks a bit more 60ies now and I wore it at a Mod Weekender over here. All the best to you and your family, greetings from Germany,Angelika
