A Little Bit of Here and There.

I just wanted to share a bit of where you can find me lately.  First of all, the new Red Velvet Collection is being released tonight (Monday) at 6pm CST.  I got to style this lovely dress, which has been so perfectly named the "bike ride dress" for a fun 3 ways to wear it post!

I have a new tutorial up on A Beautiful Mess.  A lot of you commented and emailed asking how I did the twist braids in one of my more recent outfit posts, so I did a little tutorial on it.  It's SO super easy!

I also have a little feature in Mollie Makes this month!  I can't wait to see it in person.  :)

The first round of dresses are up in the Reloved (or "shop my closet") shop!  Some of them will be hard to let go, but they should go to homes where they will be worn!

And finally, I wanted to announce that I'm doing an Easter shop update this year!  It will be small-- just some bunnies and some mounted deer, but it will be up by the end of the week (most likely).  I needed to break away from the customs for a little bit and just create.  I will let you know for sure when it goes live!

Whew.

Whew.  We are FINALLY done packing things and moving them from the house.  Our friends have been SO AMAZING through all of this.  We seriously would be sitting in the driveway crying right now if they all hadn't pitched in the way they have.  If I were to start my "list of thanks" right now, they would be number 1.

So, as I mentioned last week, I went to Springfield two different times on top of my crazy week.  I had a couple of photo shoots with those Red Velvet gals-- here are some peeks from one of them (the other was for a magazine that won't be out until March).

True, I was busy, but who could pass up the opportunity to hang out in an airstream for part of the day?!  It was crazy windy and a ton of fun.  I may or may not have a tiny case of the airstream wants.  ;)  You can see more of the photos over on Elsie's blog!

Weekly Wears: Coffee Break

The weather here in Missouri has been AMAZING.  I don't want to rub it in if you are in an area that is still blazing hot... just know that sooner or later you'll be enjoying this perfect weather where you are! 

We've been taking walks, having picnics on blankets, trampoline-ing... basically, anything we can do outside, we are doing.  Oh yeah... and the coffee!  PERFECT COFFEE WEATHER.  (What weather isn't perfect coffee weather, really?)

Johnny shot these pictures for me two days ago.  Yesterday I got my bangs cut.  I'm actually glad my hair is "normal" in these, because I'm still adjusting to the bangs and not yet ready to share them with the world.  Isn't it funny... you get all hyped for a haircut and once it's done you're kinda like, "Meh."  You'll see them next week.  For now I'm going to hide my head.  Just kidding.  Kind of.

Weekly Wears: Red Velvet Day

Today is the day that the new Red Velvet collection launches!  I'm so excited to see it all come together.  :)  In celebration, I thought I'd wear my Flower Shop Dress.  I can't believe how often I find myself wearing this thing.  I probably should be embarrassed.  ;)

Shoes:  Swedish Hasbeens (borrowed)

You know that thing where you go out to shoot your camera with a specific purpose and then it almost immediately dies?  Yeah.  That.  At least we got these, right?  ;)
