Weekly Wears: Waiting Game

This time of year is always so awkward to me.  Everyone is rushing Fall with their coats and boots and Summer clearance, and here I am sweating it out for another couple of months.  I'm not above it, though-- I start falling into the trap pretty quickly.  I mean, it would be hard not to!  Even my husband brought home pumpkin beer last night, so I think it's safe to assume you'll be hearing me longing for Fall in the coming weeks.

Summer, we can be friends a little longer.  I'm still excited about my growing watermelons and blooming rose bushes.  Pretty soon though, I'll be ready for a break.  ;)

    Such a charming outfit! Great for summer while it kicks around. The weather is starting to cool here, which I have to say I'm grateful for. That said I applaud you for embracing summer a little longer where you're at. Soon it will be winter most places and we'll all be longing for a sunny day to break things up a bit. Best to enjoy it while it's here, and a slice of juicy watermelon grown in your own back yard certainly doesn't hurt ;)

    I love Summer. It's my favourite season and I think that's because we don't get an awful lot of sun in the UK. I do enjoy Autumn though, it's so pretty! Your outfit is also lovely by the way :)

    I find this time of year terrifying ;) hahah I try to hold on to summer as long as I can... I do think fall is nicer, it's just that it feels like it lasts a day and we're back to the bitter cold... I'm not a winter person at all!

    I don't want to rush fall. I feel like summer flew by unusually fast this year. Seeing pumpkin ale in stores is making me depressed!

    I feel the same way. Texas doesn't really have a fall, so I always try to enjoy summer for as long as possible. No need to rush!

    i feel ya. i'm so not ready for fall! this week has been the hottest all summer and september is usually just as hot (in san diego). everyone's got their pumpkin spice everything and i'm just sitting here with an iced tea trying not to sweat in my non-air conditioned house :)

    I'm such a summer girl. Every year I start to get sad when fall is on the horizon (while everyone else is rejoicing!). But once it arrives, I always love it. It's weird being pregnant because most of my clothes no longer fit, but autumn layers will be fun. :)

    I'm one of those people that just wants it to be fall already! The cardigans are out for me, heheh! Then again, fall is so fleeting. Then it's slushy snow and bad roads here in Pittsburgh for a few months. Which I could really do without!
