Weekly Wears: Siamese Dream

Shirt: UO;  Skirt: c/o ModCloth;  Shoes: c/o ELF;  Bracelet: Noonday Collection

Band t-shirts.  I'm usually a girl who only wears band t-shirts from shows I've seen.  I don't know why, it's just a thing I usually stick to.  I did not get this Smashing Pumpkins shirt at a concert, but I'm giving myself permission to wear it based on the fact that this album is amazing and, hey, I just want to.  That's the thing about clothes, you can always break THE rules or your own rules if you want to.  :)

I can't believe it's the middle of August already, but it is, and that means only one thing in this family:  HOPE'S BIRTHDAY!  I'm off to wrap presents and spoil my first-born today!

**You can see how I styled this skirt for Fall right here.

  10. I would never think of buying band shirts on ModCloth. And Smashing Pumpkins truly is an amazing band!

I've had my eyes on those shoes for a while... Guess it will be a buy for next Summer, not that this Summer is almost over.

    Lovely photos, as always!!1

  13. One of THE best albums ever. I wear band t-shirts all the time, who cares if you've never seen them live? You can still support them, and show off your impeccable taste in music. ;)

  15. I lived in band tees for most of my life, so I get it! Love this cute little outfit and I have a pair of sandals almost exactly like that from Club Monaco. 10 bucks, baby!

  22. Firstly, as always, so envious of your style!!! Secondly, I always cut my tshirts or loveeee baggy oversized tshirts! Pairing them with skirts is my favoirte thing to do! Stylish but still comfy.

  28. I saw them in Memphis when I was a senior in high school (16 years ago now!). They told us we sucked as an audience and I was appalled. Then I heard later they said that all their shows. Gish is the best album by far though. My oldest daughter is love with them now. Crazy how time flies.

  29. I haven't heard that album in a long time. I am the same way about band shirts. My husband and I used to constantly go to local underground shows with lesser known bands and he still wears some of the bands we saw in high school. It would be weird to have shirts of bands I hadn't seen, honestly. Cute outfit!
